Why did you become a teacher?
I became a teacher to empower people like teachers empowered me.  Plus, teaching is “in my blood.” I come from a long line of teachers, principals, college professors, deans, and college presidents.  Education is “the norm” for my family. 

What is your teaching philosophy?
You can’t change the world, but you can change the way students see it.  That’s what empowerment is all about.
