Why did you become a teacher?
I made the decision not to become a lawyer like my father and brother, and teaching seemed like a nice alternative.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Long after an English course is over, a student must be able to correctly, effectively, and consistently apply all skills learned to his or her own writing. Otherwise, the class was a complete waste of time.
