FOR A JOB WITH A FUTURE

Industrial Process Assistant Technical Certificate - Developed in partnership with local industry to help meet entry level hiring needs.

StudentThe Industrial Process Assistant Technical Certificate requires only two semesters to complete. The program was developed with local industry feedback and support. It covers comprehensive industrial safety procedures, courses in mechanics including measuring skills, shop math, fabrication procedures, fasteners, hand and power tools/shop equipment, manufacturing processes, mechanical components, blueprint reading/ problem solving, introduction to computers, workplace skills and other competencies deemed important by the committee. The work is challenging with lots of hands-on performance and requires discipline from the employee/student in order to complete, but it is also very "doable".
