Why did you become a teacher?
Mathematics plays a very significant role in our day-to-day lives. For some reason, students are very intimidated by this subject. I wanted to share some of my passion for Math and at the same time instill confidence by teaching the essentials.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe that diligent practice, positive attitude and giving more than 100% to everything can aide in mastering any subject and reaching the set goals.

Arnold

Name: Morgan C. Arnold

Where are you from? Warner Robins, GA

Subjects Taught at CGTC
Mathematics

Degrees/School you earned your degree from
B.S. in Mathematics at Fort Valley State University
M.S. in Mathematics Education at Florida State University (in progress)

Hobbies
Playing tennis, spending time with my nephew, doing crossword/logic puzzles

Why did you become a teacher?
I became a teacher simply because I enjoy helping students and watching them learn. I love it when a student gets excited about grasping an idea or getting a “light bulb” moment! Thanks to my grandmother (a teacher herself for over 50 years), I inherited an immense love for teaching and learning. Simply put, teaching is my calling/purpose in life.

What is your teaching philosophy?
1)         Students are the number one priority!
2)         Keep it simple in the classroom, especially when math is involved.
3)         Always be humble
