Online Continuing Education
You may access this page to look around without actually taking the course. To take the course you will submit your payment to the American Heart Association and take the written test online. In order to obtain your ACLS certification you must complete the skills checkoff as well. Once you have completed the written portion, print out your certificate and contact Rhonda Beck or Tim Wood at 478-757-3592 to schedule the skills checkoff. The cost for skills checkoff is $35.00 and you must bring your completion certificate with you. After you have completed both sections of the course, you will be issued an American Heart Association ACLS card.
Once you have completed the online portion of the course, print out your certificate and follow the instructions above for scheduling and completion of skills checkoff. The cost for skills checkoff is $25.00 and you must bring your certificate of completion with you. After you have completed both sections of the course, you will be issued an American Heart Association BLS - Healthcare Provider card.
