Student Requirements for Automotive Technology Program

All students are required to purchase textbooks. Nine books are required for the diploma programs.

Students are required to purchase hand tools quarterly for the first four quarters. These hand tools are needed for internship and future employment. Hand tools are to be purchased before registering each quarter until all required tools are purchased. Prices of tools vary greatly; depending upon brand name and place of purchase.

Students are expected to dress appropriately according to the occupation for which they are being trained. All students are required to follow safety guidelines.

Students must be able to work in awkward body positions and be able to lift moderate to heavy objects for lab assignments.
